HALRIC School Release Authorization Program

Authorize the release. HALRIC handles the inventory and sales.

Schools do not need to purchase lanyards from HALRIC. With written authorization, HALRIC can design, produce, list, sell, fulfill, and support an approved school-spirit release through HALRIC.net and any other sales channels specifically included in the agreement.

Authorization Models

The agreement can match the school’s preferred terms.

The form starts the review. HALRIC then prepares a written agreement defining the exact rights, limits, approvals, and compensation before any official school artwork is printed or sold.

01

Quantity-Limited Authorization

The school authorizes HALRIC to make and sell up to an agreed maximum number of units. The agreement states whether the authorization is royalty-free or includes another fixed consideration.

02

Percentage Royalty

HALRIC sells the approved release and pays the school an agreed percentage under a clearly defined calculation and reporting schedule.

03

Per-Unit Royalty

The school receives a fixed amount for each qualifying lanyard sold. This keeps the payment easy to understand and audit.

04

Time-Limited Release

HALRIC may sell the approved release during a defined season, school year, event period, or other contract term, with a documented sell-through or closeout process.

What the Agreement Will Define

Clear permission protects both the school and HALRIC.

The final contract will be tailored to the approved release. The intake form gathers enough information for HALRIC to prepare the first draft without asking the school to place an order.

Authorized parties

The school, district, or organization that owns or controls the marks, the authorized signer, and HALRIC.

Licensed marks and artwork

The exact school name, wordmark, logo, mascot, colors, and artwork HALRIC may reproduce.

Products and sales channels

School-spirit lanyards, HALRIC.net, approved markets or events, territory, and any prohibited uses.

Term and production limits

Start and end dates, maximum authorized quantity, reorders, exclusivity, and renewal options.

Compensation and reporting

Percentage royalty, per-unit payment, fixed consideration, reporting frequency, payment timing, returns, and exclusions.

Approval and quality control

Design proofs, samples, permitted changes, product quality expectations, marketing approval, and school review contacts.

End of authorization

Termination rights, remaining inventory, sell-off period, artwork return or deletion, and final reporting.

How It Works

From authorization request to a live HALRIC release.

  1. 1

    Authorization intake

An authorized school representative submits the school, rights-owner, artwork, sales-channel, quantity, and compensation preferences.

  2. 2

    Authority verification

HALRIC confirms who may authorize the marks and who will sign for the school, district, or controlling organization.

  3. 3

    Contract draft

HALRIC prepares the agreement using the approved royalty, per-unit, time, quantity, channel, and approval terms.

  4. 4

    Design and proof approval

After the agreement is signed, HALRIC prepares the fabric and lanyard design for written school approval before production.

  5. 5

    HALRIC-funded production

HALRIC purchases materials, produces the approved inventory, performs quality checks, and prepares the release for sale. The school is not required to buy the inventory.

  6. 6

    Direct sales and reporting

HALRIC lists and fulfills the products through the authorized channels, then reports and pays any required royalty according to the contract.

Request an Agreement

Tell HALRIC what the school is prepared to authorize.

This is not a purchase-order form. It collects the information needed to prepare a proposed licensing and sales agreement. No permission is granted and HALRIC will not use official school marks until the required parties sign the final agreement.

Do not include student records, student names, or other confidential student information. Official artwork will be requested through a separate controlled exchange after the initial review.
